The Edelweiss flower grows at high altitudes in harsh climates. To flourish in remote mountainous areas this silver star is covered in dense hairs that protect it from the cold temperatures and strong UV lights.

So we mix extract from the Edelweiss flower with other natural ingredients to create our body balm. And that’s how your body enjoys the rejuvenating powers of this special flower.

Recommended routine

Apply a small amount of Edelweiss Body Balm onto dry skin and especially after showering. The soft cream is easily absorbed and suitable for all skin types. If you use Edelweiss Body Balm with our other products, we recommend the following routine:

Gently massage your body with the Edelweiss Body Balm

The cream should be applied to dry and clean skin. Once finished, ensure the lid is sealed and that the cream is kept away from heat.

Our story

In the foothills of the Swiss Alps, there’s an alpine pasture overlooking the lush valley of Pays-d’Enhaut. As a child, my father took me here on hikes and it’s where he taught me to respect nature. I would soon move to Brazil but I never forgot the beauty of the region.

Then one day I returned to the Pays-d’Enhaut. And it’s here in 2009, along the winding banks of a stream, that I emerged through a grove of trees to discover a garden hidden by nature.

The smell of lemon balm, mint and chamomile wafted in the air. Water crackled down the nearby stream. While the Edelweiss flower bloomed in abundance in the shadow of trees. My father’s lessons rushed back to me and I knew I had finally found my home for Jardin des Monts.

Today the garden is still owned by nature and the seasons tell us how to grow. When snow falls on the mountains we design the garden. Then in the first days of spring we sow the soil. The harvest comes in the summer and our medicinal plants only leave when they have been collected by our hands. Our Impératoire and Edelweiss range and our herbal teas ar organically certified and free from unnatural preservatives. All our products are 100% natural.
